How to apply for a job?
To maximize your rate of success, we advise you to submit your curriculum vitae directly to an open job vacancy on the website by filling our specific online application form, and uploading your CV where required in a word format. If no available vacancies in your area of expertise, we do accept CVs electronically.

 

How long does it take to get a reply after submitting my CV?
The Recruitment team of EG will confidentially treat the information in your application form, and in the event that your qualifications and experience match an actual vacancy you will be contacted shortly, otherwise your CV will be kept in our database for eventual vacancies. You don’t have to submit the CV many times, only in case you have to update any of its content.

 

What are the steps of the recruitment process?
If your profile meets our requirements, an initial phone interview will be conducted by the HR department, should you pass this brief screening, you’ll be asked to pass through a one-one-one interview with the HR Manager. Only shortlisted candidates will have to undergo another one-on-one interview with the related Business Unit Manager, to evaluate the candidate’s existing technical skills as well as the ability to unleash hidden capabilities. Should you pass this second interview, pre-selected candidates will have to go through psychometric tests being the final evaluation tool which enables EG to be very selective when it comes to mixing character, experience, potential and professional commitment.

 

What happens if I am the selected candidate for the job?
When a candidate is selected for a job, an initial Job Offer will be sent by the HR department followed by a Work Contract. Should the position to fill be in Lebanon, the candidate will join on the agreed joining day with no further steps than to provide the EG with originals of his credentials. Should the position be abroad, the administration department in coordination with the HR department will work on getting the candidate all official papers needed for the relocation.

 

What happens when I join EG?
When a candidate joins EG, he/she goes through a very structured and enjoyable Onboarding program during which the candidate gets to know EG better, go through a tour of the house, meets colleagues and co-workers, as well as gets initiated to all the information related to EG’s culture, internal structure, the policies & procedures, etc. This 1 day Onboarding program is followed by handing to the new team member an Employee CD, as well as pocket size employee handbook.

 

Do you take graduates from a business background?
Yes. We are interested in candidates from a professional / business background and experience especially for our Project Management Office, as well as the finance, HR and administration departments.

 

What skills do I need to have in order to be considered for a position?
Being in the ICT industry, it is essential to have IT skills, but for all positions with no exception, we look for good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as creativity, leadership, teamwork spirit and the ability to learn and grasp new concepts.
